Speech
of Man. Rajjubhaiya at the Sankalpa Shibir organised in Gujarat in 2000
A.D.
Seeing such a large number of Swayamsevaks in their uniform every mind is
feeling happy. Few years back when late Shri Laxman Raoji Inamdar was in
Gujarat a similar shibir was attended by only five to six thousand
Swayamsevaks. In all the major important programmes it is not the
attendance alone which attracts attention but it is the efforts that are
made to contact the society at large to ensure that they participate in
our programmes. A number of our workers contacted various places for this
purpose. The focus is more on the number of places than the count of those
who attended that is how it is aptly called Sankalpa Shibir.
If all those who have come from different places, through contacts of the
Swyamsevaks will follow the discipline hear, they will be helping to
create a most efficacious atmosphere which they will cherish all through.
It is possible that some of our brothers have come for the first time to
attend the Shibir and perhaps they are in the uniform for the first time,
it is even possible that they are not used to such a hard discipline or
sense of keeping time, or they may not have stayed in Shibir in such cold,
yet you will all be able to easily withstand all the physical rigors along
with the Swayamsevaks. I desire that this Shibir becomes a memorable event
in your life so that you keep the memories all through your life.
From the Sangh point of view, atmosphere in Gujarat is most congenial. The
workers attending this Shibir will realise how conditions are favourable
to carry on the Sangh work in the society.
Normally such programmes are rather few and infrequent because it requires
lot of efforts but it is through such Shibirs that our capacity and skill
in ogranisation and management becomes amply clear. Through these
programmes we establish contacts with different places and we are able to
spread our thought amongst them. At the same time it is equally true that
such large programmes are not of any use either for personal contact or to
bring about change in anybody's day to day life. For that Shakha, the
programmes organised by it, and the cultural development brought about
through its participation a close company of the Sangh authorities and the
lessons they try to imbibe through their personal life is very useful.
That is why all you brothers have to understand the basic importance of
Shakha. It is very necessary to keep this in mind. |
