before becoming a full time Pracharak of the RSS in early sixties. He was
considered one of the leading scholars of Nuclear Physics, a rarity in
those days.
Starting as the Prant Pracharak of the RSS for Uttar Pradesh Sri Rajju
Bhaiyya rose to become Sarkaryavah of the RSS in 80's. In 1994, he was
nominated as Sarsanghachalak of the RSS by Sri Balasaheb Deoras. Sri Rajju

Soft-spoken and affable, Sri Rajju Bhaiyya had been a friend, guide and
philosopher to many in Parivar. He led the organisation in the challenging
times, as Sarkaryavah during 80s when the Ram Janm Bhumi movement was at
its zenith and again in mid-nineties when graph of the Hindutwa ideology
in the political arena was rising steadily and significantly. Many senior
functionaries of the Parivaar organisations had close rapport with Sri
Rajju Bhaiyya. He had close relations with many outside the Parivaar also,
including eminent politicians, academicians, social leaders and
intellectuals.
Shri Rajju Bhaiyya is survived by two younger brothers, Vijender Singh in
