Resolution-5

4th Centenary of Compiling & Prakash-utsav of
Shri Guru Granth Sahib

The Akhil Bharaiya Karyakari Mandal heartily supports the celebrations, ceremonies and functions going to be organized on the eve of 4th centenary year of compiling and ‘Prakash’ of Shri Guru Granth Sahib, and is confident that by organizing these functions with devotion, the National unity and universal peace and harmony shall be strengthened.

‘Elahi Vani’ of Adi Granth Sahib has raised the Bhartiya Samaj above the differences of castes, superstitions, haves and have-nots and by awakening the national spirit, it has given them strength to end their political and social slavery. Khalsa, which emerged from the divine beams of Gurbani, played an important role in uprooting 700-year-old foreign regime. Along with Guru Sahibs’ Vani, Shri Guru Arjun Dev included the vani of like Jaidev of Bengal, Nam Deo, Trilochan and Parmanand of Maharashtra, Peepa and Dhanna of Rajasthan, Sen of Rewa (MP), Kabir Raidas, Soordas, Ramanand, Bheekhan of U.P, Sheikh Farid of Panjab, Sadna of Sindh in it to awaken the religious and social awareness of society and to remove its evils during the foreign regime and made it available in common man’s language. He elevated it above caste, language, region, religion etc by giving it the status of Guru.

In resolving the present day challenges like Casteism, regionalism, Linguism, haves and have-nots. Shri Guru Granth Sahib is the lighthouse, which shows the right way.

ABKM appeals Bharat Sarkar to play major active role in these celebrations just as it played during the Tri-centenary of Khalsa.

ABKM also calls upon the Hindus in general and Swayamsewaks in particular not only to actively participate in these ceremonies but also to carry the holy message of ‘Gurubani’- door to door.
